A testament to human greed

I'm so frustrated by the oil spill. They should have had it plugged within days of the leak. There is absolutely NO excuse for this. The whole thing was caused by bottom lining, and now BP isn't even putting in full effort to clean it. If anything good comes out of this, it better be discourage people from future offshore drilling.
I seriously hope this is a wake up call. I do. And I think it's so ironic that it happened a month after Obama signed the bill that opened up huge areas of the U.S. coastline to offshore drilling.
Right now, there are tankers that have the ability to suck up oil and sea water, separate the oil and retain it, and pump cleaned sea water back. And they sit idle off the coast of China - I think. That's just.. infuriating. Meanwhile, BP keeps spraying poisonous chemicals on the oil to break it up and make it sink. It doesn't melt it, it just hides it. This is what happens when you let corporations make their own policy.
It's enraging, terrifying and ultimately just so, so sad.

Go human time bombs, go robotic believers
Protect your only war reserves

Go great destroyers, killers of holy nurture
Legacy of genocide rulers and tyrants

'Cause God do we have to be perversions of our innate pride and arrogance?

Have to learn, have to learn, have to learn
We have to swallow

Go humans go destroyers, go until it's gone

What would it cost you, to face your thoughts?
You needed your sovereignty and your precious things hurdle everything

God, do we have to be competitors to be the worst in history?

Cannot learn, cannot learn, cannot learn
We cannot store it

Go humans go destroyers, go until it's gone!
